So I read about ten to fifteen new issues this week and overall I was pretty disappointed. Granted some of them I was jumping in halfway or at the ending of a story line. Also I loved nearly everything I read last week so I'm sure that tainted it a bit. The books that did stand out this week were Secret Six #9 (from last week but read it this week), Battle for the Cowl #3, Wolverine Weapon X #2 and Uncanny X-men #510.
Secret Six had me laughing out loud again. No I won't write LOL. Dammit, just wrote LOL. AH!!! it won't stop. Anyways, once again DC has made me enjoy characters that I had absolutely no interest in. Bane? Living Doll? Cat-man!? But it was great. I'm going to catch up on all the Villains United/Secret Six books this weekend.
Battle for the Cowl #3 ended well and pretty much as expected. It was a fun read and felt very 90's Knightfall cheesy but I still really enjoyed it, although it overall it was pretty unnecessary as we could have just jumped right into the revamped bat-books.
Nothing special about Weapon x #2, just fun Wolverine attitude and violence.
Ah Uncanny X-men #510. More 90s nostalgia. I love it. Maddy Pryor, Psylocke, Spirial. And I just love that they have all the young x-men always around. Pixie has become one of my favorite X-men.
Next week some Flash Rebirth talk as long a Eric has read his comics.

Talk away! I'm ready!
And Battle for the Cowl ended as I expected. Now I'm really looking forward to Batman & Robin. I may even have to start reading Batman even though Judd Winick is on it. :)
